Sabah safe for tourists: Yen Yen.
GEORGE TOWN, March 3 - Sabah is still safe for tourism
despite the Lahad Datu incident, Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said today.
The Tourism Minister told The Star Online that the ministry
was closely monitoring the situation.
“We have not receive any queries from our overseas office on
the matter. The Sabah Tourism Board had also issued a statement on Saturday to
all industry players that the state is safe and business is as usual,” Ng was
quoted as saying by the news portal.
She added that the ministry believed that tourists were
aware of the country’s overall stability.
