Interesting Events In 2013 Tourism Calendar.
PUTRAJAYA (Bernama) - Malaysia's tourism calendar for 2013
is packed with another fascinating year of exciting events and colourful
celebrations in the run-up to Visit Malaysia Year 2014.
The activities include cultural events, festivals and sports
which will be held from January to December this year, said Tourism Malaysia in
a statement Friday.
Among the events listed are the Royal Langkawi International
Regatta (Jan 7 to 12), the Pasir Gudang World Kite Festival (Feb 20 to 24) and
the Formula One at the Sepang International Circuit (March 22 to 24).
Other interesting events are the International Maritime and
Aerospace Exhibition (March 26 to 30), the Malaysia International Shoe Festival
(April 5 to 7) and the water festival which will be celebrated in Langkawi,
Labuan and Port Dickson in April.
In June, visitors can enjoy the night at the Malaysia
International Tourism Night Floral Parade in Putrajaya with the dazzling
spectacle of lighted-up boats cruising along the lake as well as the Rainforest
World Music Festival in Sarawak for those who love music, it said.
