Malaysians Get Taste Of Japanese Hospitality.
KUALA LUMPUR: Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, Shigeru
Nakamura, hosted an inauguration reception for a delegation scheduled to travel
to the Land of The Rising Sun on a technical visit.
The reception was held at Nakamura's residence in Jalan
Langgak Golf, here. The delegation of 30 comprise travel agents and press
members. They will stop at Tokyo, Yokohama and Sendai during their visit to
Japan from Jan 29 to Feb 3.
The Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) Singapore, in
collaboration with the Malaysia Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA),
will be their host.
In host cities Yokohama and Sendai, the delegation will meet
with tourism stakeholders such as tour operators, hoteliers, theme park
operators and local tourism officials.
In Yokohama, JNTO and MATTA will sign a Memorandum of
Understanding to further promote friendly cooperation and exchange of ideas on
inbound tourism between Malaysia and Japan.
