Negeri Sembilan

Negeri Sembilan

Negeri Sembilan derived its name from nine districts that constitute the state (a nine-state in the Malay language). It is the earliest settlement site of the Minangkabau migrants from Sumatra. Many of the buildings in the state have incorporated the unique Minangkabau architecture, with its buffalo-horn shaped roof peaks.

Attractions in Negeri Sembilan include the Pedas hotsprings, Pengkalan Kempas ancient monoliths and the Seremban Lake Gardens. In addition, Port Dickson beach is one of the most popular destination of seaside resorts in Malaysia.
