Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).

If you would like to have a big conference or meeting or even incentive groups coming to Malaysia, probably with a number of persons that is more than 500 people, it is also advisable that you be in contact with MyCEB officials. You may want to register and acknowledge the team of your up-coming group and event to Malaysia. Either you already have or do not have your official ground handler in Malaysia, such as an event manager or a travel agency, MyCEB shall assist and support your group arrangement and stays in Malaysia. MyCEB has a good list of up-coming events, local and international of up to year 2016 covering huge number of delegates per event. 

This is in-line with Malaysia's government commitment on tourism development and Tourism Services Malaysia will always support  the government efforts to make Malaysia a better destination for MICE potential groups and delegates. Below are some information with regards to their objective and available services.   


MyCEB

The Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) was established in 2009 by the Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia to further strengthen the country's business events brand and to position the country as one of the world's leading international meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) destinations. A non-profit organization, MyCEB serves as a one-stop centre to assist meeting and event planners to bid for and to stage regional and international business events in Malaysia and to act as a conduit for national product development.


MyCEB Services and Support

1. Create cooperative industry platforms to sell and promote Malaysia's business events products and services.

2. Advice and assist business events organizers to plan and promote their events internationally.

3. Assist organizers in the selection of local product and service providers.

4. Facilitate request for support from government.

5. Facilitate product development and to promote education, training and accreditation for the industry.

6. Encourage and assist potential local hosts to bid for and host international conventions in Malaysia.


Subvention Program

A subvention program to support bids for very targeted international business events which offers high economic value to the country has also been developed. Support given will be based on an economic assessment, an agreed performance criteria as well as mutual benefits for the government and organization.
