Night Tourism Fair to generate higher sales
SHAH ALAM: Tourism Malaysia is targeting to achieve total
sales of RM400,000 in domestic tourism packages at the second edition of the
"Cuti-Cuti 1Malaysia Night Tourism Fair" (CC1M), to be held from Nov
2 to 4. The national tourism agency also expected 70,000 people to visit the
exhibition at night at i-City, here.
The Director of the Communications and Publicity Division of
Tourism Malaysia, Mohmed Razip Hasan said the exhibition involved 68 exhibitors
including various local tourism agencies, hotel operators and the
transportation sector.
"The CC1M Night Tourism Fair this time also inserted
the 'Selangor Homestay Carnival' to further promote homestay packages among
domestic tourists and expatriates," he said at a news conference, here
today. The three-day exhibition, from 5pm to midnight, is scheduled to be
opened by Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Dr James Dawos Mamit at night on Nov 2.
