'Pameran Raja Kita' (Our King Exhibition).

Date: 8 December 2012

'Pameran Raja Kita' (Our King Exhibition).

The exhibition is held as a way to introduce and foster closer relationships between His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Almu'tsimu Billahi Muhibbuddin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah and her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Haminah with their subjects. The system of Parliamentary Democracy  and the concept of a Constitutional Monarchy are also on show. It is hoped that this exhibition will benefit and enlighten all on the importance of preserving this concept for future generations as a symbol of the nation's sovereignty, an umbrella that protects and shelters everyone of us in this country (Malaysia).

Among the objectives of the exhibitions are;

1. To clarify the role and position of the institution of Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the concept of Constitutional Monarchy in the Parliamentary Democracy system of government as practiced in this country.

2. To introduce the Yang di-Pertuan Agong XIV and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong to the people in conjunction with His Majesty's installation on December 13, 2011.

3. To strengthen the spirit of patriotism and sense of undivided loyalty to the country and government of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

4. To reflect the importance of the Institution of Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the concept of Constitutional Monarchy as a pillar for sovereignty, peace, prosperity, harmony and country's development.

5. To defend the glory and sovereignty of the Institution of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as practiced in this country.

In addition, while it is very important to Malaysians to know more about our King and Queen as well as the Constitutional Monarchy system, it is also very interesting for any foreigner to learn and acknowledge the nation's sovereignty.
