N.Sembilan ‘Tourism Industry's Kick-Off Conference 2013' On
Dec 11.
SEREMBAN, Dec 9 (Bernama) -- Negeri Sembilan (NS) Tourism
Malaysia and Negeri Sembilan Tourism Board are holding a one-day programme
'Negeri Sembilan Tourism Industry's Kick-Off Conference 2013' at the Klana
Resort here on Tuesday, Dec 11.
NS Tourism Malaysia director Zaidi Kassim said the programme
aimed to gather all tourism operators to discuss ideas for strengthening the
sector in the state.
"Among the objectives of the conference are to launch
the 2013 NS tourism events calendar while simultaneously gather the tour
operators to collaborate with the government on strengthening the sector in the
state. The NS state government's 2013 plans for promoting tourism in the state
to enhance income will also be presented," he told Bernama, here today.
He said this effort was in line with the Federal
government's national 2020 Tourism Transformation Plan and to create a platform
for tour operators and government agencies to form smart partnerships and
contribute towards the industry's growth.
